While our solicitors have significant experience in oil and gas litigation, we currently represent oil companies in reviewing contracts, advice on local legislation and policy statements including local content issues and assist with negotiations and dispute resolution with host communities. We also offer advice to oil service companies and contractors to multinationals on specific projects. Recently our practice has focused on understanding the legal issues involved in local content elements in the oil industry and contractual breaches emanating from time clauses in production, construction and service contracts when such breach is attributable to conflicts or disputes with or in the host communities.
